Women scientists are far less likely to commercialize or exploit the results of their research by creating a spin-off than men. Lack of visibility and lack of access to funding partly explain the huge gap between female entrepreneurs and their male counterparts.
On November 16, early evening, at the EPFL Rolex Learning Center Forum, The Female Entrepreneur Experience: Wisdom and Innovation conference will bring together seven dynamic young women entrepreneurs who graduated from EPFL or HES-SO and created a startup. They will share their experiences and give a taste of what it’s like to embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship.
